The 2026 premiere of the documentary film Silent Harvest marks the 20th anniversary of Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH). An international association of doctors, DAFOH is the recipient of the 2019 Mother Teresa Award and a 3-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee.
Silent Harvest was ten years in the making and features in-depth interviews with experts, victims, and medical doctors around the world, including ethicist Arthur Caplan, former Vice President of the EU parliament Edward McMillan-Scott (UK), world renown transplant surgeons Dr. Zain Khalpey and Dr. Jacob Lavee, liver expert Dr. Christopher B. Hughes, Maria A. Fiatarone Singh, Dr. Charl Els, Dr. Adnan Sharif and others.
The documentary runs 80 minutes to unfold and convey the gravity of the forced organ harvesting atrocity. Viewer discretion is advised – this film contains graphic images of torture and violence.
Silent Harvest is a reflection of DAFOH’s efforts over 20 years.
In the beginning, DAFOH sought to understand the unprecedented practice of killing prisoners to harvest their organs. Because information about organ transplant and forced organ harvesting is heavily guarded by the Chinese Communist Party, it took years to gather pieces of evidence.
As the full picture of this transplant abuse became clear, DAFOH released reports of its findings.
Now, through this documentary, DAFOH shares with viewers its accumulated insights and knowledge on the subject.
The objective of the film reflects the NGO’s mission – to provide objective findings about forced organ harvesting to the medical community and the public.
This documentary aims to inform medical doctors, nurses and the public about the atrocious practice of forced organ harvesting in China.
Silent Harvest was produced by
Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting,
a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
